We know your operator by model, not just by name

Knowing the brand is not enough. A LiftMaster LA400 fails differently from an LA500, and the fix is different too.

We also service Viking, All-O-Matic and Ramset operators. If your gate carries a brand not listed here, call and describe the unit.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

Tell us what it is doing

Call or send the form. Describing the symptom accurately is usually enough for us to know which parts to load before we leave.

We diagnose and quote

On-site inspection with a written price before any work starts. If we cannot fix it, you do not pay for the diagnosis.

We fix it and test it

Repair, full safety test against UL 325, and a written warranty on parts and labor before we leave the site.

Why us

The boring things most gate companies skip

Real address

A company you can actually find

Our office address and phone number are on every page and match every listing. Plenty of national gate sites publish neither.

Honest pricing

Numbers before we arrive

Published price ranges for the common repairs, and a written quote on site before anyone touches a tool.

Safety standards

UL 325 and ASTM F2200 on every visit

Automatic gates cause serious injuries when entrapment protection is missing. We test for it whether you asked us to or not. Read the guide.

Repair first

We would rather fix it than sell you one

A burnt control board is a part, not a reason to replace a working operator. Replacement gets recommended when it is genuinely cheaper for you.

Reviews

Trustindex widget goes here. Pull live Google reviews only. No written testimonials, no invented names and cities. Verified reviews are one of the few places we can clearly beat the national competition.

What it costs

Typical gate repair prices

Ranges, not a bait number. The final price depends on the operator, the parts and the access, and you get it in writing before work begins.

  • Remote, keypad or receiver work$150 to $400
  • Control board replacement$300 to $700
  • Hinge, roller or track repair$250 to $650
  • Gate motor replacement$400 to $1,200+

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the symptom on the phone and we will tell you the likely range before we come out.

Common questions

Before you call

How fast can someone get to me?
It depends on the metro and the time of day. Emergency calls are dispatched around the clock, and we will give you a realistic arrival window on the phone rather than a number that sounds good.
Do you charge for the estimate?
On-site inspection and the written quote are free. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, there is nothing to pay.
Which gate brands do you service?
LiftMaster, DoorKing, FAAC, Apollo, Viking, All-O-Matic and Ramset, including older discontinued models. Our technicians are trained by model, not just by brand.
My gate opens but will not close. Is that urgent?
Yes. A gate that will not close leaves the property open, and the usual cause is a misaligned photo eye or a blocked safety sensor, which is a quick fix. See gate will not close, or call us if you would rather not troubleshoot it yourself.
Can you repair a gate you did not install?
Almost always. Most of our work is on systems installed by somebody else, including gates whose original installer is no longer trading.
Is my gate legally required to have safety sensors?
UL 325 requires automatic gate operators to have at least two independent means of entrapment protection, and ASTM F2200 governs how the gate itself is built. Older gates frequently fall short. Here is what both standards require.
